Working with an interior designer is a highly personal experience and can be quite long term, depending on the scope of the project. Therefore, it’s important for both client and designer to feel good about working together as the relationship requires trust, respect and a natural connection. As result, there are a few steps we take before a project is confirmed.

We begin with a 20-minute discovery call, then we have an in-home 2-hour design consultation where we get more details about you and your lifestyle, the scope of your project, budget and timeline.

Following the consultation, we come back to you with a bespoke fee proposal and initial design intent for your project. At this point, you’ll have expert advice and a solid foundation to decide if you want to move forward with ABI.

Our ultimate goal is to create a stress-free, enjoyable and rewarding experience during the design process. If you opt for the Full-Service design package, we do all the heavy lifting for you. From concept to final install, we work with our trusted team of trades to deliver your dream home.

We help manage all the details on site so you can simply relax and look forward to your new space.

If you prefer to be more involved in all the nitty-gritty detail of the process but need help with design direction, a virtual design package might suit you better.

All our projects begin with an inquiry form which outlines the basics of your project. Once received, we do a complimentary 20-minute discovery call to further review your project and see if we’re a good fit. This is followed by an in-depth 2-hour consultation in your home. During this consult, we talk through the details of budget, timeline and your goals for the home. We get to know more about you, your family lifestyle and your aesthetic.

We use all this information to create a fee proposal that is unique to your project and based on the scope of works needed. We present our proposal along with our initial designs for your review.

We create bespoke fee proposals for each project based on the scope of work and the estimated hours needed to complete the work.

Travel and accommodation fees apply. We also offer a virtual design service for clients who are happy to do the heavy lifting but need expert guidance to help them make decisions about design and decoration.
